Your First Therapy Appointment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Whether starting therapy for the first time or re-starting with a new therapist, it can be overwhelming to get started. Your first appointment is considered an intake assessment and here’s what to expect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before the session starts…<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You’ll receive correspondence from the office via the SimplePractice<\/a> patient portal where you’ll complete demographic information, upload insurance\/payment information, review and sign office paperwork such as the One Step At A Time informed consent, practice policies, privacy practices, release forms, an intake questionnaire, and other forms\/questionnaires as needed. *All intake paperwork must be completed 24 hours prior to your first appointment or your appointment may need to be rescheduled. <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
